Wonderfully located directly on the Sneekermeer, offering views that never grow old. This is Friesland at its very best — open water, sailing boats, sloops and ever-changing light throughout the day.
In front of the houseboat lies a private garden of approximately 10 × 10 metres, featuring a comfortable lounge sofa where you can spend hours enjoying the activity on the water. On top of the houseboat you’ll also find a spacious rooftop terrace — a perfect spot for breakfast in the morning sun, a relaxing afternoon in the light, or a glass of wine at the end of the day, with the Sneekermeer all around you.
Inside, the layout is surprisingly spacious and comfortable. There are two bedrooms:
• one with a bed measuring 1.60 × 2.10 metres
• one with a bed measuring 1.50 × 2.10 metres
The kitchen is fully equipped and more generous than you might expect on a houseboat, including an oven and dishwasher — ideal for longer stays or those who enjoy cooking. The houseboat is permanently moored and not intended for cruising. It is connected to sewage, water, electricity and gas, ensuring a high level of comfort and convenience. A unique feature: guests who bring their own boat can moor it at the private jetty directly next to the houseboat. This allows you to explore the Sneekermeer by water and return home to your own terrace.
At the entrance of the marina, a reserved parking space is available. Next to the houseboat you’ll find a lockbox; the access code is provided one day prior to arrival and remains valid throughout your stay.
The Sneekermeer is a lively area. Famous for the Sneekweek, yet vibrant and enjoyable all year round. From the marina you can easily rent a sailing boat or sloop at Sail Away, or head out on the water with your own vessel. Many nearby restaurants cater specifically to watersports guests — mooring for lunch or a glass of wine is perfectly normal here. Water connects you effortlessly to some of the most beautiful places in Friesland.
